PriceMyTrade is openly operated by The Works Co. — a small UK publisher of plain, practical operating manuals for local trades.

We publish this site because pricing is the part of every trade people get wrong first. Customers can't tell a fair quote from a chancer's one; new operators underprice out of nerves and then wonder why they're busy and broke. The calculators here use the same base-and-modifier method our manuals teach, with typical 2026 UK bands.

The honest commercial bit: each calculator comes from a £47 manual, and we'd obviously be pleased if you bought one. But the calculators are free, unrestricted and un-gated either way, and the figures don't bend to make the manuals look better — a tool that flattered you would be useless to you.

Every figure is a typical band, not a quote. Local markets vary more than people expect, which is why the method — not the number — is the thing worth learning.
