How it prices: A price per walk by type — a group walk priced per dog sits below a solo one-to-one, because the hour is shared. Daycare and boarding are per day/night and need a council licence. Bank holidays add ~50% and Christmas week often doubles. Manual bands: group £10–£15, solo £12–£18. Treat the output as a starting band, not gospel — gather 15–30 local price points before you commit to a number.
What dog walking costs in the UK in 2026
A group walk is typically £10–£15 per dog and a solo one-to-one walk £12–£18. Puppy visits and pet-sitting drop-ins are £12–£20, doggy daycare £20–£30 a day and home boarding £25–£40 a night (the last two need a council licence). Bank holidays carry a premium, and Christmas week is often double.
The real product is the weekly package: three group walks a week is around £39, five is £65 — recurring, on direct debit.

The economics are in the group walk: several dogs sharing one hour, each paying £13, is the highest hourly return in the trade — and it renews weekly by default.
